- Same-day or scheduled vehicle pickup

We buy all types of vehicles across Calgary and surrounding Alberta communities, including running, used, newer, junk, scrap, accidental, flooded, and damaged vehicles.
3. Vehicle Quotes and Offers
All quotes are estimates only. A quote provided through our website form, by phone, or by email does not constitute a legally binding offer to purchase your vehicle.
The following conditions apply to all quotes:
Quotes are subject to inspection. Every quote is based on the information you provide about your vehicle. A final offer is only confirmed after one of our representatives has physically inspected the vehicle at the time of pickup. If the vehicle’s actual condition differs from the information provided, we reserve the right to adjust or withdraw the offer.
Quotes expire after 48 hours. Unless we confirm a different period in writing, all quotes are valid for 48 hours from the time they are issued.
We may decline to purchase. Not every vehicle will receive an offer. We reserve the right to decline a purchase based on factors such as vehicle age, condition, missing components, title issues, or other circumstances.
We may rescind a confirmed offer at any time before payment if we discover that:
- The seller cannot provide a valid, transferable title at pickup
- The vehicle has major components missing that were not disclosed
- The vehicle has damage or issues that were not disclosed when the quote was requested
- The information provided was inaccurate or misleading in any way
4. Seller Representations and Warranties
By requesting a quote and proceeding with a sale, you confirm and warrant that:
- You are at least 18 years of age
- You are the legal registered owner of the vehicle, or you hold documented legal authority (such as Power of Attorney) to sell it
- The vehicle is free and clear of all liens, loans, and encumbrances, unless you have disclosed this to us in advance and we have agreed in writing to address the lien as part of the transaction
- All information you provide about the vehicle, including its year, make, model, mileage, condition, accident history, and mechanical status, is truthful, accurate, and complete to the best of your knowledge
- The Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) has not been altered or tampered with
- You will provide a valid government-issued photo ID at the time of pickup
- You have the right to transfer ownership of the vehicle and that no other party holds a legal claim to it
If any of the above representations are found to be false or inaccurate, Alberta Cash for Cars reserves the right to cancel the transaction, withhold or recover payment, and pursue any available legal remedies.
5. Title and Ownership Transfer
A sale is considered final only when:
- Both parties have signed a Bill of Sale
- The physical vehicle has been handed over to Alberta Cash for Cars
- The vehicle’s registration (“Pink Slip”) has been signed and transferred in accordance with Alberta’s Traffic Safety Act and applicable provincial regulations
You are responsible for ensuring that the vehicle title and registration are properly signed over at the time of pickup. Alberta Cash for Cars is not responsible for any parking tickets, fines, or liabilities associated with the vehicle after the signed Bill of Sale and title transfer have been completed.
6. Payment
Alberta Cash for Cars pays sellers in cash at the time of vehicle pickup. Payment is made on the spot, in full, once the vehicle has been inspected and the Bill of Sale has been signed by both parties.
No payment will be issued:
- Before the vehicle has been physically inspected
- Before the Bill of Sale is signed
- Before valid ownership documentation has been provided
Alberta Cash for Cars does not make advance payments, deposits, or partial payments prior to pickup.
7. Free Towing and Vehicle Pickup
We provide free towing as part of our standard service for most completed vehicle purchases in our service area. However, a towing fee may be deducted from your final offer, or additional charges may apply, in the following situations:
- The vehicle is not located at the address you provided at the time of scheduling
- The vehicle is inaccessible by a standard tow truck (for example, it is in an underground parking structure, on uneven terrain, or otherwise blocked)
- You cancel or reschedule after our driver has already been dispatched to your location
- The vehicle requires special equipment to recover due to conditions not disclosed at the time of booking
We will always notify you of any potential towing fees before confirming a pickup appointment.
8. Personal Belongings
Once you accept an offer and confirm a pickup time, please remove all personal belongings from your vehicle before our driver arrives.
Alberta Cash for Cars is not responsible for any personal items left in a vehicle after it has been picked up. Once the vehicle leaves your possession following a completed transaction, we cannot guarantee the return of any items left inside.
9. Accuracy of Information You Provide
The quote you receive is based entirely on the information you submit. You are responsible for providing accurate details about your vehicle.
If your vehicle’s actual condition at the time of pickup is different from what was described, we reserve the right to revise or withdraw the offer. This includes but is not limited to differences in:
- Mileage or odometer readings
- Accident history or structural damage
- Missing parts, components, or accessories
- Mechanical condition or engine status
- Interior or exterior damage not previously disclosed
Providing false or misleading information may result in cancellation of the transaction and could constitute fraud under applicable Canadian law.
